Haha the figures are very funny! Let's hope they are sweet too. :-)
I understand a little bit of Italian but I cannot speak or write as well.
Can you give us the original recipe of tiramisu, please? I have two or three different versions of it, but I would like to have the italian recipe, just to see the difference.
Nosy there is no original recipe of tiramisu.... Every Italian family does it with it's own recipe.
I can tell you as I prepare it.
Ingredients
- packet of Biscotti savoiardi (I think in English they are called "Lady fingers")
- 500 gr of mascarpone cheese
- 3 coffee cups of coffee (Italian coffee, if it's prepared with the moka coffee machine it's even better. I don't Know if you can use Greek coffee),
- 150 gr sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of Rum
- Cocoa powder
Beat sugar with the egg till it’ puffy than slowly add the mascarpone and the Rum and mix well.
Dip the biscuits into the coffe .
As you dip one biscuit put it in a pan. Make a layer of biscuits and cover it with half of the mascarpone cream. Make a second layer of biscuits and cover it with remaining mascarpone cream.
Cover the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
Put the tiramisu at least a couple of hours in the fridge before serving
